Helping the right thing to happen

This is White Lake

Satellite photo of White Lake in Aurora Co. S DakotaThe lake itself has no relevance other than a strong nostalgic pull. I spent long stretches of my childhood in the vicinity of this lake and the town of the same name. To me it has the appearance of a duck and, if you choose to note the causeway at the lower end, a trussed up duck.  To push the metaphor well beyond the comfort level,  your data, like the duck can be captured and brought under control.  Get the right help.

Technical skill is mastery of complexity while creativity is mastery of simplicity.

Reasons to Call

If you have won the battle to create Data Governance or Data Quality activities in your organization only to find that now you're expected to deliver on the promises, wouldn't it be nice to have someone at your side who is experienced across the I.T. spectrum.  Wouldn't it be great to have someone who can speak all the dialects from data modeling todatabase administration to software development methodology?  Don't you think it would be useful to have someone who can prioritize objectives to get "the most bang for the buck?"

I don't like to waste my time on small problems. Fortunately for me, no problem in a business enterprise is a small problem.  The only real question is how to define and constrain the scope.  Here are some reasons why you might seek our assistance.  If you are experiencing these situations, you should take action.  Without attention, these situations will deteriorate and spread.
  • Project or initiative is stuck, nothing is getting done
  • Too many surprises, planning is difficult and sticking to the plan is impossible
  • Information is confusing, outdated, of poor or unkown quality
  • Bickering and in-fighting among/between business functions
  • Alignment of effort is difficult or impossible

Leadership for change, management for effectiveness, governance for stability.
